Mutant Mag is an avant-garde fashion magazine, with androgyny as the theme of this issue. The popular fashion duo Fecal Matter is highlighted in the feature article. The goal was to take principles common within avant garde fashion (grayscale, abstraction of form, etc.) and apply it to the page using unconventional type treatments and layouts.
